We are a full-service experiential South-Asian marketing agency, specializing in event design & production, brand marketing, sponsorships, talent management & bookings, publicity, and social media & influencer relations. Our growing and dynamic production team is now looking for a VP, Sponsorship Sales & Brand Partnerships who will be responsible for generating revenue through sponsorship sales by utilizing current brand direct, agency relationships and creating new relationships.

The VP, Sponsorship Sales & Brand Partnerships will be a key part of the 5678 team with the primary responsibility of generating revenue through multiple channels, including launching integrated partnerships for 5678 consumer facing properties including Dance USA Dance®. This individual should have a proven track record of generating significant revenue across all sales disciplines. The VP will initiate, develop, and close sponsorship deals that integrate experiential marketing, extended media and promotions, and content. S/he should have experience in collaborating across multiple teams, have worked in a small office environment and have a network of executive level relationships on both the brand and agency side. A passion for the brands is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an initial market offering within a new market and an innovative, fast-growing team.
The VP is expected to manage the sales process from initial outreach to presentations and proposals, to managing the contract process. S/he will have support from the marketing, communications and digital teams to build, sales decks and presentations and support from the legal team for contracts.
Most importantly, you must bring your logistical expertise and your leadership prowess. Throughout the day you will be responsible for:
➤ Develop and execute long-term and short-term strategies to generate sponsorship revenue through the sales of packages consisting of existing assets and new opportunities
➤ Collaborate with content and production teams to ensure that 5678 properties are optimized for sales.
➤ Create sales plans to bring properties to market.
➤ Lead all facets of the sponsorship sales process including strategy development, identifying new and emerging categories, prospect outreach, presentations, negotiating, and closing partnerships.
➤ Execute effective corporate sales calls and presentations with the goal of meeting established sales objectives.
➤ Provide ongoing feedback to internal team on market response and needs.
➤ Manage the sales pipeline with Hubspot.
➤ Participate in industry conferences and meetings on behalf of 5678 Media Group.
➤ Invite industry leaders and potential clients to 5678 Events .
➤ Work in collaboration with Digital, Marketing and Legal teams to ensure partnerships are executed and closed within a timely manner.
➤ 8-10+ years sponsorship sales experience.
➤ Successful history of selling entertainment/experiential marketing sponsorships.
➤ Expertise in identifying opportunities; developing strategies; and closing deals.
➤ Institutional knowledge and deep understanding of the sponsorship industry.
➤ A robust network of decision makers and influencers on both the brand and agency side that can be leveraged immediately.
➤ Exemplary problem solving, communication, and presentation skills.
➤ Must have a high degree of poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts.
➤ BS/BA degree required.
➤ Minimum to intermediate level of computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote.
